BookedCaller

For plumbing companies in the US

Never miss a job.

An AI receptionist that answers every call, 24/7, even when you're under a sink. It takes the job details and puts real emergencies straight through to your cell. Done for you: you manage nothing.

It tells callers it's an AI assistant. We take 2 plumbers per city.

Incoming call, 2:14am

“A pipe just burst in my basement and there's water everywhere…”

When you're on a job, your phone keeps ringing. Every call that goes to voicemail is a customer who calls the next plumber.

See what that could cost you with the calculator below, using your own numbers.

Hear it work

Two real kinds of call. A routine quote request gets the details and a time window. A burst pipe skips the questions and goes straight to you.

Plumbers we talk to get a demo built with their own name, services and area.

How it works in 3 steps

  1. 1

We build it on your company

Your services, service area, hours and fees, taken from your website and a short form. You check it, we adjust it.

  2. 2

    Your calls divert to it

When you can't answer, or after hours. You keep your number and your phone.

  3. 3

    You get the jobs

Every call answered, the job details captured, and real emergencies put straight through to your cell.

Two ways to connect it

You keep your number. Your phone company forwards calls to your receptionist. Pick the style that suits how you work, and change it any time.

Backup: we answer when you can't

You keep answering your own phone. If you can't get to it, after about 4 or 5 rings the call goes to your receptionist instead of voicemail. It takes the details, explains your call-out fee, and books the job into an arrival window you have approved, like 8 to 12. You get the details straight away.

Best if you answer most calls yourself and just miss the ones when you are on a job.

Front desk: we answer every call

Every call goes to your receptionist first. It filters out sales calls and wrong numbers, puts real emergencies straight through to your cell, and books every job into your approved arrival windows.

Best if you are on jobs all day, or you want no interruptions. It answers more calls, so it uses more of your included minutes.

What it handles

Every call, day and night

It answers at 2am on a Sunday the same way it does at 10am on a Monday, and handles several calls at once.

Job requests

Takes the name, number, address and ZIP, the problem, house or business, owner or renter, and when it suits them.

Emergencies

Burst pipe, flooding, no water or sewage backup: put straight through to your cell, with a safety tip for the caller.

Gas smell

Tells the caller to leave the property and call 911 or the gas company from outside. It never tries to book it.

Quotes and prices

Only quotes the fees you give it. For everything else it says you'll quote once you've seen the job.

Sales calls and robocalls

Politely turned away, so your phone stops wasting your time.

Included, no add-ons

Instant text confirmation

The customer gets a text confirming their booked arrival window and your number while the call is still going.

Emergency hotline

Real emergencies are put through to your cell at any hour you tell us you answer.

Spam shield

Sales calls and robocalls filtered out before they reach you.

Weekly tune-up

We review your calls every week and improve what it says. You approve every change before it goes live.

Not another app to manage

Cheap self-serve answering apps are tools you set up yourself, then forget to fix. This is a receptionist you never have to manage, and it gets better every week from your real calls.

Every week we read what callers asked, find what it couldn't answer, and draft the fix. You approve it before it goes live. Nothing changes without you.

Who's behind it

A

I'm Abu. I build BookedCaller myself, and I take every call with a plumber myself.

A good plumber is under a sink when the next customer rings. I built this so that customer gets answered, whoever is busy.

No big promises. Read the weekly report, see what was caught, and decide. If it doesn't book you a job in your first 30 days of use, your next month is free.

Questions

Will callers know it's AI?

Yes. It says it's an AI assistant at the start of every call and tells people the call may be recorded. Most callers just want someone to pick up and get the job started.

What happens in an emergency?

A burst pipe, flooding, no water or a sewage backup is put straight through to your cell phone, at any hour you tell us you answer. If you don't pick up, the caller is told you'll call straight back. A gas smell is different: it tells the caller to leave the house and call 911 or the gas company from outside.

Does it quote prices?

Only prices you give us, such as your service call fee. For everything else it says you'll quote once you've seen the job, and takes their details. It never promises an arrival time you haven't approved.

How is this different from cheap self-serve apps?

Those are tools you set up and manage yourself. This is a receptionist you never have to manage. We build it, run it and improve it every week from your real calls. You approve every change before it goes live.

Do I keep my number?

Yes. Your number stays exactly as it is. Calls divert to the receptionist when you don't answer, or after hours, using your phone's call forwarding. We show you how.

Is there a contract?

No. Month to month, cancel any month. The first month is paid upfront.

What if it doesn't book me any jobs?

Two promises. If we are not live within 72 hours of your payment and finished set-up form, your first month is free. If the receptionist books no job in your first 30 days of use, your next month is free. A booked job counts even if it is never completed. You claim by email within 30 days after your first 30 days. After that it ends. The full terms are on the terms page.

What do you do with the call recordings?

They're kept for 30 days so we can improve your receptionist and build your reports, then deleted. We never sell them. Lessons from one client may help another, but only as general patterns, never customer details.

Answer the next job.
